Adding Email account to Outlook Express.
To get maximum benefit out of this tutorial please open Outlook Express now so that you can go through this tutorial step by step.
Start Outlook Express.
If you are starting it first time, a popup window similar to below picture is displayed on the screen.
Or go to
T ools => A ccounts =>Mail =>Add
you are displayed with same window shown here.
Add the name to be displayed "From" address.
Enter email address
email@yourdomain.com
Click on next.
Incoming (POP3) - yourdomain.com
Outgoing (SMTP) - smtp.yourdomain.com
Click on next.
Enter you full email ID as
Account Name
. Enter Password.
Click on next.
Confirmation that you have finished successfully.
On clicking on Accounts you get a popup window.
Select Mail tab and select your domain or email account.
Click on
P roperties.
Click on Server tab and check
My Server requires authentication
.
Click OK, if you have already connected to internet, click on Send Receive button to send and receive your mails.
